Dear Clients, Friends and Colleagues,

I am so excited to announce the following promotions for these Names in the News team members. In particular I want to highlight the promotion of Denise Hubbard to President of Names in the News. She will oversee the Sales department and will work closely with me on corporate initiatives. I feel particularly lucky as the incoming CEO, to have Denise at my side – I couldn’t ask for a more thoughtful or supportive colleague and leader.

The following staff advancements are in recognition of leadership, team mentorship, and stellar strategy and service to our clients. I feel so grateful to have these resilient, creative and diligent leaders at my side driving company initiatives and business strategy.     Names in the News Congratulates Denise Hubbard We are thrilled to congratulate Denise Hubbard who has been promoted to President. We want to acknowledge her stellar leadership, customer care, vision and analytics leadership.Denise continues to innovate and is in the process of creating new analytic tools for our clients as well as to our team. As a continuing member of our Executive Committee we can always count on Denise to be a thoughtful, engaged and strategic leader.     Names in the News Congratulates Linda Bertolli We are excited to announce that Linda Bertolli has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). Linda has taken over the operational leadership role for company infrastructure in addition to her current role as Director of Human Resources. We want to acknowledge her forward thinking leadership in creating innovative operational improvements and community building initiatives.     Names in the News Congratulates Marianne Hammer We are delighted to announce Marianne Hammer‘s promotion to Executive Vice President. In addition to her current Director of List Management and senior brokerage roles Marianne will expand her corporate strategy and industry facing work. Marianne will continue her company leadership as a member of our Executive Committee, along with Jennifer, Denise, Linda and Suzie.

Names in the News Welcomes Andrew Harkins

We are extremely pleased to announce the return of Andrew Harkins to our senior team, now serving as Director of Information Services.

During his absence he worked as a Senior Database developer and engineer and broadened his experience related to database architecture, report development, database migration, analytic reporting and development and fundraising analysis.

Andrew has worked for a breadth of organizations ranging from fundraising consultant agencies to commercial direct marketing firms, and commercial organizations with nonprofit objectives related to social justice and health care.

For Names in the News Andrew will provide strategy related to our proprietary database and new analytic database and integrating those systems, aid with developing new reporting capabilities and assist with ways to provide better and more robust analysis to our clients. He has the wonderful ability of understanding end user objectives and addressing those with technological answers that are forward thinking and that meet business objectives.

Susan Anstrand, Chief Executive Officer says, “We are very excited to welcome back Andrew to our team. His wide range of fundraising, analytic, technical and operational leadership is a great compliment to our firm.” Suzie McGuire, President adds, “We’ve worked hard to build a senior team of high level fundraising experts to better position the company for the future. Andrew is known for his intellectual curiousity and ability to envision, innovate and execute complex operational solutions. He is a wonderful addition to our exceptional team.”

Andrew will be working out of his Seattle home office.
